Meghan Giery
PT, DPT
Meghan Giery was born and raised in Texas, where she grew up competing in a variety of dance styles continuing into her freshman year of college. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from The University of Texas at Austin, where she first discovered her passion for helping others through movement and healthy living.
She went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University. While primarily working in outpatient orthopedics, Meghan recognized a significant gap in access to care related to pelvic health. To better support this underserved population, she pursued advanced training and education and earned her Pelvic Health Certification (CAPP-Pelvic) through the American Physical Therapy Association.
Meghan is dedicated to empowering her patients with knowledge and personalized care and helping them return to activities they love. She treats a wide variety of pelvic health concerns including birth preparation, pregnancy-related pain or incontinence, postpartum recovery, pelvic pain, urinary incontinence and/or bowel dysfunction. Meghan is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and is a Credentialed Certified Clinical Instructor.
Meghan’s husband is in the Navy and that has brought her family to Washington. She has completed multiple marathons, ultramarathons and cycling races. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs (George and Archie). She is an avid Longhorn fan, enjoys trail running, snowboarding and loves a good cup of coffee.
