Lacye Kalma
PT, DPT
Lacye Kalma recently made the exciting move to the Pacific Northwest after spending her entire life in North Texas. This transition represents a new chapter, and Lacye is eager to embrace the opportunities and experiences that this beautiful region has to offer.
Lacye earned her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from the University of North Texas, where she developed a strong foundation in movement science. She then went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from South College in Knoxville, Tennessee. Her academic journey, combined with her passion for helping others, has shaped her into a dedicated and knowledgeable physical therapist.
Growing up in Mansfield, TX, Lacye was deeply involved in soccer, playing both club and varsity throughout high school at Mansfield Legacy. She served as team captain during her junior and senior years, demonstrating leadership and a strong commitment to the sport. It was during her time on the field that Lacye experienced a partial tear to her left meniscus, which led her to discover the transformative impact of physical therapy. This personal experience ignited her passion for rehabilitation and motivated her to pursue a career where she could help others recover and thrive through movement. Outside of her professional life, Lacye enjoys running, weightlifting, exploring new local coffee shops, reading a good book and taking care of her houseplants. She's always excited to discover new experiences and looks forward to growing both personally and professionally in the Pacific Northwest.
